2026 League Updates

Well we tried, some of us tried anyway lol let's vote again. For the last time until I self destruct this bitch one day lmao

Significant updates are coming to the site (and the league as a whole) as things we move to reduce / eliminate league votes, establish an annual draft day and eliminate duplicate teams in 2027; but in the immediate:

1. Beginning in the 2027 season (next year) the official Cash & TDs Draft Day will be the first Wednesday following the NFL's final 53-man roster reduction deadline. This future change avoids the yearly Labor Day issue, AK blowing up the chat, and Doug's annual dumpster fire - the current date shown in ESPN reflects this future change; however to accommodate everyone with that adjustment...

2. Vote for your draft preferences by 4pm (EST) Thursday, August 27th

3. If it stays the same date and time this year, great. If it changes to accommodate schedules for this year, great. But now everyone can plan in perpetuity and much like Thanksgiving, you can just plan for and around it.

4. Prepare to pay annual dues ($75) by Tuesday, September 8th (or contact me directly for an extension)

5. The draft order will be determined by Friday, Aug 28th. Random dot com will randomly determine an order, and that order will determine the order of when you get to choose the position you'd prefer to draft [Ex: Random says 1. Chris 2. Doug 3. Chyree, Chris will have his choice of draft spot, Doug will then have 11 slots to choose from, so on and so forth]. IDC if you like it, I like the gamesmanship and fun of it; if you hate it?
